The remains of Abdulrahman Safau Omowumi, a 20-year-old female student of Bathelomew College of Health Technology, Shao in Moro local government area of Kwara State has been deposited at Ilorin General Hospital morgue.
Reportedly, the 20-year-old lady identified as Abdulrahman Safau Omowumi was reported raped and butchered at Gerewu area of Ilorin metropolis by some unknown hoodlums.
It was gathered that the deceased home on Saturday 27th of June at about 4pm but did not return home up untill Sunday morning, as the family made for the police.
Subsequently, the Police found her corpse lying beside a river at Oko-oba in Gerewu village on Sunday morning, with matchet cuts on her head.
She was suspected to have been raped before she was finally killed.
