The Deeper Life Bible Church, Ikwuano Region, has urged Christian women to use their faith, professions and positions to make positive impact in their families and communities.
NDORO OBORO, Abia State — The Deeper Life Bible Church, Ikwuano Region, Abia State, has held its 2026 Women Conference at Ndoro Oboro, with women from different professional backgrounds and denominations challenged to use their faith and positions to make positive impact in society.

The two-day conference, held under the theme “Godly Builders with Positive Impact,” focused on equipping women to contribute meaningfully to their families, professions and communities.
The programme featured spiritual sessions, professional discourse and a workshop that addressed issues affecting young people.

Speaking during an interview, the Region Women Coordinator of the church, Mrs. Nnenna Ochulo, said the conference provided an opportunity for women to fellowship, interact and share knowledge across different professions.
According to Ochulo, participants included lecturers, teachers, legal practitioners, medical personnel, businesswomen, engineers and other professionals.
She said the conference was designed to encourage Christian women to allow their faith to influence their different areas of life.
“The essence of being believers is to allow our light to shine in our different environments, to brighten the corner where we are,” she said.
Ochulo explained that the professional discourse was also aimed at helping the women understand how they could combine their professional responsibilities with their Christian calling.
She said medical professionals, for instance, were encouraged to minister to patients not only through physical care but also by offering encouragement, prayer and spiritual support where appropriate.
The coordinator added that teachers had an important role to play in shaping young people, particularly those struggling with delinquency, depression or misguided influences.
She said the women were encouraged to use their various positions to reach young people, help them discover the right path and guide them towards Christ.
According to her, the conference emphasised the need for women to become positive influences wherever they found themselves, whether at home, in the workplace, in business or within their communities.
Ochulo disclosed that the conference was not restricted to members of Deeper Life Bible Church, noting that invitations were extended to people in offices, markets and other places within the community, including members of other denominations.
She said the response to the programme was encouraging, although the organisers had expected a larger turnout.
Ochulo expressed appreciation to the women who participated, saying their presence contributed to the success of the conference.
She prayed that the participants would return to their homes and workplaces strengthened and inspired to make positive contributions to their families and communities.
