Breaking: Abia Central Senatorial 2023: Rep. Onuigbo Floors Atuma At Appeal Court

An Appeal Court sitting today in Owerri, Imo State capital has declared Rep. Sam Onuigbo, the winner of the May 29, 2022 primary election, organised by the All Progressives Congress, Abia for Abia Central Senatorial District.

Rep. Onuigbo is the incumbent member representing Ikwuano Umuahia North and South Federal Constituency of Abia State defeated Hon. Emeka Atuma in the Court.

Famousreporters.com reports that Rep. Onuigbo had contested with Chief Henry Ikechukwu Ikoh, in the said election, and had emerged winner.

Conversely, Hon. Emeka Atuma had contested for the Governorship primary election organised by the party with High Chief Ikechi Emenike, during which the latter clinched the ticket.
