‘Relationship Shouldn’t Kill Me’ — Blessing CEO Ends Engagement With IVD
Blessing CEO has announced her split from celebrity car dealer IVD, saying she chose to walk away after repeated calls from fans to leave the relationship.
Social media influencer Blessing Okoro, popularly known as Blessing CEO, has announced the end of her relationship with celebrity car dealer Ikechukwu Ogbonna, better known as IVD.
Blessing disclosed the breakup during a TikTok live session, saying she had decided to walk away after repeatedly listening to fans who urged her to leave the relationship.
The influencer and IVD got engaged in April 2025, making their relationship public and attracting considerable attention on social media.
Explaining her decision, Blessing said she could not remain in a relationship that could put her life at risk.
“Somebody asked if IVD and I are still together. No, we are no longer together. We have broken up,” she said.
Blessing added that she had decided to respect the concerns of her fans, many of whom had previously encouraged her to leave IVD.
She described herself as a single mother and a single woman, saying she was now focused on rebuilding her life and taking care of herself.
“I have left him. Let me pick up the pieces of my life,” she said.
The influencer also jokingly invited potential suitors to contact her through her direct messages, stressing that anyone interested in dating her must be financially capable.
“I am single. Those of you who want to apply, feel free to apply in my DM, and make sure you have money,” she added.
Blessing’s announcement came days after she and IVD publicly apologised over mistakes they had made in the past, including their words and actions.
IVD, whose real name is Ikechukwu Ogbonna, was previously married to Bimbo Ogbonna, who died in October 2022 under controversial circumstances.
Following Bimbo’s death, allegations of domestic abuse were made against IVD. In 2023, the Lagos State Government charged him with involuntary manslaughter in connection with her death.
Bimbo’s sister also accused IVD of being responsible for her death at their Lekki residence. IVD has denied the allegations and, in 2025, claimed that Bimbo had also been violent during their marriage.
Blessing’s latest announcement marks the end of her 19-month engagement to IVD and signals a new chapter for the influencer, who said she is now ready to rebuild her life.
