Arochukw PDP  Executives reassure loyalty to Ikpeazu, Nkole

The  newly inaugurated Executive members of the Peoples Democratic Party, Arochukwu LGA chapter, in Abia state have restated their promise to work assiduously in unity towards repositioning and restructuring the party to ensure resounding victory for the party in subsequent elections.

The Executives made this pledge during their working visit to the member representing Arochukwu/Ohafia federal constituency, Rt. Hon. Uko Nkole at his hometown in Ozu Abam, on Monday June 1, 2020 under the auspices of Hon. Okemini Sunday, the newly elected chairman.

Speaking on behalf of the other Executives, the Party’s Chairman expressed profound gratitude to Hon. Nkole for his effort and supports for the Party in LGA which, he maintained had resulted in their emergence in the course of the just concluded election, describing his team as “capable hands to man the affairs of the party in Arochukwu”.

He implored the federal lawmaker to extend their loyalty and relentless support to the PDP led administration of Governor Okezie Ikpeazu in the State, as well as the National Working Committee of the great party for ensuring a hitch free congress that produced them as LGA executive members.

According to him, the efforts of the Governor in conjunction with the National Working Committee was a clear demonstration of their burning zeal and passion geared towards sustaining the party and ensuring her victory come 2023 elections.

In their separate speeches, the LGA party Vice Chairman, Mazi Francis Okoro and Mrs. Okorie Grace Chijioke, the Organising Secretary assured the lawmaker of their preparedness to work in harmony and extend their hand of fellowship to others who lost in the Congress and interested to join the party.

Also speaking, the Transition Committee Chairman, Arochukwu LGA, Mazi Emmanuel Kanu charged the party Executive members not to betray the trust and confidence reposed on them, as he reiterated his continuous supports and synergy.

Also speaking, the former Commissioner for Transport, Abia State, Hon. Kingsley Imaga urged the Party Executives to discharge their duties effectively and “reach out to other stakeholders in the LGA who are willing to join hands to reengineer the party.”

Imaga who advised the Executives to keep their hope aglow, pointed out that their emergence was a prove that they met all the required leadership skills needed to drive the party to a more enviable height.

Responding, Rt. Hon. Nkole congratulated the Excos on their emergence, while charging them to discharge their duties without fear from any quarter and assured them of his maximum support.

He insisted on the need to leave no stone unturned in reinvigorating the party in the LGA, as he enjoined the party Excos to endeavour to work in synergy, adding “and prove your mettle in the forthcoming general elections”, he said.

  • Kalu Agada Nkochi- Youth leader,
  • Samuel Amah- Assistant Secretary,
  • Mrs. Stella A. Ota- Ex-Officio member,
  • Paul Nkole- the Auditor,
  • Mr. Ikenga Ijomanta- Ex-Officio member including Hon. Onyema Ogbuagu, the Deputy Transition Committee Chairman, Arochukwu LGA.
