APC’s Attack On Orji Kalu Over Brother’s Choice Of Party: A Show Of Gross Childishness- Stanley Ohajuruka

Stanley Ohajuruka says that; “If Orji Kalu has his brother in another political party, there’s no Problem with that.”

Former Speaker of Abia state House of Assembly and member of the green carpet of the 6th National Assembly, Rt. Hon. Stanley Ohajuruka has described what happened at the APC Presidential rally of Abia state as childish and not expected of political actors of the APC.

Responding in a radio program of the Sun fm 91.3 Igbere, monitored from our news-room, Hon. Stanley Ohajuruoka condemned such display of attacking Dr Orji Uzor Kalu’s supporters, saying that it was uncalled for. He also maintained that there was nothing wrong with Sen Orji Kalu’s brother’s (Chief Mascot Kalu) decision of leaving the APC, to follow his political trajectory, stating that the party at the National, should harmonise the house, through proper consultations in other for the party to be united ahead of the 2023 elections.

He said “That incident as far as I’m concerned was childish, it wasn’t something that is expected from mature political actors, I wouldn’t have expected that members of the APC will disparage someone of OUK’s status.

“If he has his brother in another political party, there’s no Problem with that. He’s all by himself and the brother is all by himself. That you’re someone’s brother does not prevent you from having your own political trajectory. As far as am concerned, no one should be accused of a decision taken by someone else, as it were.

“That my brother is the President of the Federal Republic of Nigeria does not prevent me from been a member of another political party, if I feel that, that is the platform that I can use to achieve my political aims and objectives. I do not see anything wrong with that and for people now to use that to say his Excellency is doing that and this, I do not think that is matured.”

The Honorable speaker encouraged synergy among the APC ahead of the February 25th Presidential and National Assembly elections as he said;

“Nkiru Onyejeocha for instance, who is also a member of the APC, expect followers of Dr Orji Uzor Kalu, from Umunneoche and Isuikuato to support her. It’s a very sensitive thing, everyone should be working in synergy, they should all be together working for the same purpose because each and every one of them need to win elections for our party the APC.

“Supporters of Nkiruka Onyejiocha should be supporting His Excellency Dr Orji Uzor Kalu, to win elections, supporters of Dr Orji Uzor Kalu should be working for Nkiruka Onyejeocha to win election all for the APC. That is how matured people behaves. Are you now going to ask your followers to vote for me and don’t vote for Orji Uzor Kalu or vote for Orji Kalu and do not vote for Nkiru Onyejeocha? Are we not all from the same political party?
