APC Hails Ikpeazu’s Appointment as Nigeria’s Ambassador to Spain

The Abia State chapter of the All Progressives Congress (APC) has congratulated former Governor of Abia State, Dr. Okezie Ikpeazu, on his appointment as Nigeria’s Ambassador to Spain.
In a statement issued by the party’s Publicity Secretary, Uche Aguoru, the APC described the appointment as a recognition of Ikpeazu’s experience in public service and his contributions to governance during his tenure as governor of the state.
According to the party, the new diplomatic responsibility offers the former governor another platform to serve the nation and contribute to strengthening diplomatic and economic relations between Nigeria and Spain.
The statement noted that Ikpeazu’s administrative background and leadership experience would be valuable in advancing Nigeria’s diplomatic interests abroad.
“His appointment is a recognition of his wealth of experience in public service and governance. We are optimistic that he will deploy his expertise to deepen bilateral relations between Nigeria and Spain while promoting the country’s economic and diplomatic interests,” the statement read.
The Abia APC further wished him success in the new assignment and prayed for wisdom, strength, and good health as he undertakes the responsibility of representing Nigeria on the international stage.
