APC Behind Cloning Of Obi’s Identity, London Airport Detention – POSN … As Ohanaeze insists on Obi’s election petition, not Senate presidency

A group of supporters of the Labour Party, LP, Presidential Candidate, Mr Peter Obi, under the aegis of

Peter Obi Support Network, POSN has accused Nigeria’s ruling party, the All Progressives Congress, APC of being behind the cloning of Obi’s identity in Britain, culminating in his recent detention by UK immigration officers at Heathrow Airport in London.

The group in a statement issued yesterday and signed by FCC Onwuasoanya Jones of its Directorate of Strategic Communications expressed shock at the extent to which the APC Government of President Muhammadu Buhari is determined to go in its bid to neutralise the influence of Obi, whom it sees as a nightmare and the main threat to its stolen presidential mandate.

“From spending billions of naira paying lobbyists and sponsoring propaganda teams to the USA and UK, the Buhari-led APC Government has now graduated to sponsoring a clone of Peter Obi in the UK in its desperation to demonise a man widely recognised as the conscience of the nation,” POSN said.

Ohanaeze focused on Obi’s election petition, not Senate presidency – Spokesperson.

The Igbo apex socio-cultural organisation, Ohanaeze Ndigbo, said it was not ready to join in the clamour for the zone to produce the senate president.

It stated that the organisation remained dissatisfied with the outcome of the presidential election, in which the candidate of the Labour Party, Peter Obi, came third.

Obi garnered 6,101,533 votes, while the candidate of the Peoples Democratic Party, Atiku Abubakar, scored 6,984,520, and the presidential candidate of the All Progressives Congress, Bola Tinubu polled 8,794,726 votes to emerge as the winner.

While speaking with our correspondent, the spokesperson of the Igbo group, Alex Ogbonna, said, “Ohanaeze has not really come out of the shock of Peter Obi and we have not decided to talk about senate presidency. We are still interested in following the case of the presidential election to a logical conclusion. At the end of the day, we will know the next line of action but Ohanaeze does not want to get involved in discussion about that.”

LAGOS PDP DENIES SUSPENDING PARTY CHAIR

Members of the executive council of the Peoples Democratic Party in Ward E, Badagry Local Government Area of Lagos State, have denied the letter which purportedly suspended the state party chairman, Philip Aivoji.

This was disclosed in a press statement jointly signed by the ward chairman, Jamiu Boglo, and the secretary, Mr Homakon Mautin, and other members of the ward executive council on Saturday.

They described the letter as fake and malicious, warning those behind it to desist from such as their action had criminal implications.

The statement read, “Our attention has been drawn to a malicious and false letter purportedly from the executive council members of Ward E, Keta-West, Badagry Local Government Area of Lagos State, suspending the party’s state chairman, Honourable Philip Olabode Aivoji, and we were surprised to read such a letter in the media.
