Adamawa Hotel Horror: 27-Year-Old Man Confesses to Killing Woman, Drinking Her Blood

What began as a reported first encounter at a lodging facility in Adamawa State ended in a horrific death, as a 27-year-old suspect allegedly confessed to killing and beheading a woman after a sexual encounter.

Ali Haruna, 27, has been arrested in Adamawa State over the alleged killing and beheading of a woman identified as Aisha at a lodging facility in Girei. Police said the suspect confessed during questioning and would remain in custody pending investigation and prosecution.

Girei, Adamawa State — A 27-year-old man, identified as Ali Haruna, has reportedly confessed to killing a woman, Aisha, at a lodging facility in Girei Local Government Area of Adamawa State.

Haruna was arrested on Friday, August 14, after he was accused of killing and beheading the woman at the No Vex lodging facility in Girei.

According to the suspect, he and Aisha had sexual relations after meeting at the facility. He also claimed that they smoked cannabis before the incident occurred.

During a press briefing at the Adamawa State Police Command headquarters in Yola on Monday, Haruna reportedly gave an account of what happened at the lodging facility.

He said the sexual encounter was their first meeting. He later admitted to killing the woman, beheading her and consuming her blood.

The suspect, who is reportedly a permanent resident of Kaleri in Maiduguri, Borno State, is currently residing in Digno community, Fufore Local Government Area of Adamawa State.

Police investigators had earlier been informed of the alleged killing at the hotel. Haruna was subsequently apprehended in connection with the case.

The police spokesperson said the suspect would remain in custody while investigations continue.

The Command added that Haruna would be arraigned in court after the completion of the investigation.
