ABIA Widows March Round Umuahia In Blacks, Over Plots To Subvert Otti’s Victory (See Photos+Videos)

The atmosphere of Umuahia, the capital of Abia State, was yesterday, filled with utter emotions, as Abia widows, under the umbrella of The Cry Of The Widows’ Network, marched amidst agonies and sorrows round the entire municipality of Umuahia, making deadly pronouncements against envisioned ploys to subvert Alex Otti’s
The aggrieved women, amidst heartbreak, alleged that the plan of the oppositions who, according to them are fighting tooth and nail take over power, was to return the masses to the land of Egypt, as they well that any attempt to remove Alex Otti from office would tantamount to the deterioration of the decaying condition of Abia.
Meanwhile, it would be recalled that the Governor who was elected under the platform of Labour Party had emerged winner of the March 18 gubernatorial election with wide range thus defeating his closest rival, Chief Okey Ahaiwe of the People’s Democratic Party, PDP.
However, it is no longer news that PDP, the main opposition party in the State which had been in power for not fewer than twenty-four years, alongside other aggrieved parties, had filed a suit against the winner of the election, challenging his victory.
To this effect, the emotionally laden widows who numbered over 50, made a halt at the popular Isi-gate, in Umuahia, as they cried out aloud, calling upon God and the land of Abia to terminate the lives of any, whosoever that might want to bring back streams of tears in the eyes of Abians thereby stealing Governor Otti’s mandate.
Furthermore, they urged God to also ensure that the Senator representing Abia Central Senatorial District of Abia, Senator Darlington Nwokocha, alongside the member representing Ikwuano/Umuahia North and South Dr Federal Constituency of Abia State, Rt. Hon. Obinna Aguocha and all other candidates who were chosen by the people would loose their seats “to those who have held the State down over the years’.
Famousreporters.com who visited the scenes, reports that the wailing widows who were all dressed in black attires, could be seen with long sticks each, as they struck same to the ground, while declaring sudden death upon the conspirators.
“We the windows of Abia State marched round the entire city of Umuahia before the 2023 general elections, we cried to God Almighty and asked Him to take preeminence. And He did take control of the elections and the rich could not rig the election. God granted our request and gave us Dr. Alex Otti.
Continuing, she said: “But, now, they are are conspiring to overthrow him, kill and take us back to perpetual agony and suffering again, so that instead of things to get better for us in our State, things keep getting worse by the the day.
“That was what spurred us in our minds and we decided that today, we shall weep, call on God and the land of Abia, urging them to arise against anyone who tries to put his hand; anyone who tried to put his leg, and we declare Holy Ghost Fire!!!” The grieving mothers echoed unanimously.
