That said, the pragmatic Senator Representing Abia North Senatorial District And Ebullient Chairman, Senate Committee On Privatization, His Excellency Most Distinguished Senator Dr.Orji Uzor Kalu, has Continued to pragmatically demonstrate unparalleled commitment to Educational growth as a tool for Human Capital Development in Abia North Senatorial District and beyond. This is evidenced by the recent sustenance of the distribution of Educational Materials Across the five LGA’S that constitute Abia North Senatorial District.
In the wake of this gesture by Senator Kalu, The joy and happiness yesterday in Bende LGA, was incredibly uncontrollable as Distinguished Senator Dr.Orji Uzor kalu, distributed Educational Materials to nine (9) Schools in three communities in Bende Local Government area of Abia State.
The distribution of Educational Materials which took place in two schools in Uzuakoli, namely; Girls Secondary School Uzuakoli and Ngwu na Amankwo community primary School Uzuakoli, five Schools in Nkpa Community namely; Nkpa Central School Okpuhu Nkpa, Amaokpu Primary School Nkpa, Amaohoro Nkpa Primary school, Umuede Community Primary School Nkpa and Odua Nkpa Migrant school, not forgetting two other schools in Ozuitem community which includes; Enimba primary School Ozuitem and Elugwu-Mba Community primary school, Ozuitem.
Senator Kalu, who was represented by his legislative assistant for Bende LGA, Barr. Ifeanyi Igwe, Charged the students and pupils to take advantage and make good use of the Senator’s magnanimity in improving and distinguishing themselves academically and otherwise, adding that the Senator have vowed to make education in Abia North an utmost priority by improving and providing quality Education in Abia North and beyond.
In their separate reactions, the Senior school prefect Of Uzuakoli Secondary School expressed happiness over the Senator’s kind gestures assuring the senator of their readiness to study hard and make Abia North proud, while asking God to continue to bless and Prosper their Benefactor. Also the Principal of the school immensely applauded the senator for his kind gestures adding that it is not the first time the people’s senator is visiting their school with Quality Educational Materials.
At Ngwu na Amankwo Community school, Headmistress appaulded the Senator for the show of love while imploring him to come to their aid and renovate their classroom blocks. Reacting further to Senator Kalu’s Legislative benevolence, the President General of the community represented by the youth leader thanked the Senator for remembering their community.
Nkpa Community was not left out, as the elated Headteachers of Nkpa Central School Okpuhu Nkpa, Amaokpu Primary School Nkpa, Amaohoro Nkpa Primary school, Umuede Community Primary School Nkpa and Odua Nkpa Migrant school expressed unquantifiable satisfaction over Senator Kalu’s benevolence, adding that such gesture would make public schools in Nkpa more attractive and implored the Senator to remember the teachers, just as he has done to the pupils.
Responding, the President General of Nkpa Community Rev Dr Nwaji, expressed his heartfelt appreciation to the Senator for his love towards Nkpa Community, ranging from Road construction, School Renovation Et Al. Dr. Nwaji pledged their unalloyed support to Senator Kalu’s Legislative superintendence in Abia North Senatorial District.
The Exquisite testimony was same in Ozuitem community, as the Headteachers of Enimba primary School Ozuitem and Elugwu-Mba Community primary school Ozuitem heartily disclosed that they were dumbfounded and inundated by the quality of school bags and books been distributed by the Senator, adding that it was the first of it’s kind in their schools. They prayed for the Senator, while expressing hope that the Senator will continue to remember them.
In response, the Women Leader of Ozuitem Community, thanked the senator for his kind gestures while assuring him of their total support to his Legislative Superintendence.
Highlights of the events were the Distribution of thousands of quality school bags, text books for both primary, Junior and Senior Secondary schools as well as exercise books.
