Abia Central 2023: I Shall Build Clusters In Each Local Government Whether Senator Or Not, YPP Candidate, Nwachuku Vows

The former DG, National Directorate of Employment, (NDE) and the Senatorial Candidate for Abia Central, Chuku Nwachuku has vowed that whether he emerges winner or not in the forthcoming general election, he shall fulfil his pledge of erecting clusters across the Local Governments of the zone.

The foremost candidate who reminded his Constituents that, as a Technocrat, his word would always be his bond, maintained that
his proposed programmes hence building a cluster in each local government would not be determined by his victory in the election.

He, however, pointed out that the platform, would in no doubts, facilitate his passion to impact positively on the live of his people, thereby, paving the way for him to access various development finance institutions to give money to the people, in order to grow their businesses.

Nwachuku stated this when he had an interface with newsmen today, at his Mbawsi country home, in Isiala Ngwa North LGA of Abia State, yesterday, reiterating that “everyone in Abia Central deserves equal opportunity”, as he reassured his commitment to offering the people uncommon representation, if elected.

Hear him: “As a Technocrat, so regardless of whether I’m a Senator or not, the programmes I’ve talked about, the clusters in all the local governments will happen. It’s totally independent of being a Senator but the platform will give me more enablement to be part of those development finance institutions to give money to these people.

The renowned Technocrat who advised youths to desist from playing politics with their lives, reminded those questioning his past feats in human development, of impactful roles he played thus making many youths employers of labour through his selfless service at NDE where he served as a Director-General.

He recounted on the free skill acquisition programmes which he floated in the state which, as gathered was devoid of favoritism, as thousands of Abians are still beneficiaries of same.

Speaking further on what he did for the people as queried by some uniformed youths, he said:
“In my village, there are so many people and I have mentioned that in town Hall meeting who got 1M, 1.5M, and who got all kinds of money and they never mentioned it to this youths. If I give you 1.5M, at least you can empower fifteen people by giving them one hundred thousand naira, each. Some of them are big business people, they took the money and put it in their pockets. And I have a list of them.

“So, when I went to Enyi Ndi Ije- Okada, they said what? Because they have been saying in the past, what did he do for us? And I said, what? What did I do for you? First of all, I gave you employment.

“Everyone in Abia Central deserve equal opportunity. Let us give them uncommon representation not Keke empowerment, rather good and sustainable jobs; wealth creation, that’s what our people need.

“The youths must be made to understand that this is a transformational time. You’ve been there for 23years doing the same thing, yet you haven’t won, why can’t you try something else?

“Remember I’m a Technocrat, so regardless of whether I’m a Senator or not, the programmes I’ve talked about, the clusters in all the local governments will happen. It’s totally independent of being a Senator but the platform will give me more enablement to impact on those development finance institutions to give money to these people.

Continuing, he said: “Sweden is coming on board with me. Medal and I are going into an agreement of one village one product. It’s going to be a Japanese kind of system, hence one local government, one product.

“It’s going to be a situation wherein we say Isiala- Ikwuano, your product is cassava and then you have about 500 people producing cassava. I have done it without in Ugwueke at NDE so I know what I’m not saying.

We already have off-takers who will buy all those things. For instance, cassava can give you starch, and if you want to use it for bread production, it has to be in a very state so there’re off-takers already. So, we’ll have to put some mills in there that will crush the cassava to give you a means of producing bread. It has to be in stages. There are off takers already and so from cassava, you will now have secondary processing Entrepreneurs who will use it as a raw material. In Agricultural AI, we have what we call Raw Materials.

The foremost Senatorial candidate who vowed to create an Abia Central Economic Development, also promised to work assiduously with his team towards ensuring that the idea of imprudent expenditures in the State is eradicated.

However, he regretted that some overzealous politicians in the start had begun to buy votes from INEC and some uninformed and unsuspecting electorates, as he used the medium to appeal to the Independent National Electoral Commission, (INEC) to against all odds, ensure that Permanent Voter’s Cards (PVC’s) are issued strictly to the rightful owners.

Adding, he assured Abians that there votes would count inspite of all oddities, while also advising the electorates and ensure that they vote for the right candidates who would help better their lots thus granting them sustainable jobs which would enable them become wealth creators.

“No matter what you do, your votes will count and it’s all up to you to make your vote count
We’re calling on the INEC to make sure that the right people collect voter’s cards and to put up intelligence to ensure that politicians don’t buy off the PVC’s.

In a related development, Famousreporters.com gathered from a source who gave his name as Promise, that he was a beneficiary of the programme floated by the YPP candidate.

He described Nwachuku as a selfless and and one whose word is his bond, saying: “I am a youth from Ikwuano LGA and so many of my friends and I benefited from his Programmes through NDE and today, I’m proudly an Engineer, I’ve been able to go to the University with the proceeds from my work, I’m happily married.

“Also, I have trained so many young men and I’m still doing massively well. they too are training many. I’m not the only beneficiary but I’m just privileged to talked to Press concerning this man. He’s a Technocrat indeed and a wealth creator”, he said.
