The truth of what happened to Imo citizens on the 14th of January, 2020 will continue to unfold as time ticks clockwise. Unknown to Okorocha and his camp, Uzodinma’s refusal to obey and honour their agreement was made known few days ago in a gathering of top APC bigwigs in the state( Venue of the gathering with held)
In his opening remark, Uzodinma thanked party faithfuls across the state , who has remained focused and committed to his restore Imo government. But hell let loose when Uzodinma told his guests how he managed to become the number one citizen of Imo state through the help of few supreme Court Justices led by Justice Tanko Mohammed.
However, the above statement by the governor did not go down well with Senator Rochas Okorocha who flamed up in anger and rage, told the governor to his face before the stakeholders to “shut up his mouth”. In further reactions Okorocha asked the governor the role he played in the 14th of January saga. Okorocha boasted that if not for him who financed the project that Uzodinma will not be governor today. He also added that it was his contact from the North that gave them access to the Justices of the supreme Court. In fury, Okorocha busted that what role did Ali Modu Sheriff played, if not that he got the support of late Abba Kyari, who gave them presidential fiat, because both Sheriff and Kyari were brothers from Borno State.
Similarly, Okorocha asked Uzodinma before the stakeholders if he(Uzodinma) has respected any bit of their terms and conditions before he(Okorocha) accepted to toe the same part with him. Senator Okorocha further told the stakeholders that in event of days from now, Senator Ararume and Uche Nwosu will as well summon you for their own stories, Okorocha bemoaned.
It was base on the above , that Okorocha dared Uzodinma to finish this tenure and proceed to Omuma and forget about 2023.
In conclusion, Okorocha made a statement that, if not for fear of the unknown and how Ihedioha was bringing governance closer to the people we won’t have conspired against him that led Imo into a tsunami. This statement by Okorocha made some APC leaders to sigh murmur and Jitters as they walked out in blame against Okorocha for championing such a heinous crime against our heard earned democratic governance in Imo.
Ndi Imo, it is now believable that the democratic coup on the 14th of January,2020 on Imo democracy was led by Okorocha and his likes in Abuja who perfected the abortion of Imo smooth democratic transition. More facts are coming up and I know Imo citizens are not bewitched with short memory that they will forget so soon the evil that Okorocha, Uzodinma, Ararume and Tanko Mohammed etc brought on our growing democracy in Imo.
Today workers and Pensioners are weeping every month. Investors have all disengaged from the state, including indigenous business magnets who showed interest during Ihedioha’s administration like our brother Leo Stan Eke( Zinox Computers) and so many others.
