Vigilante Group Of Ohafia Pays Hon. Nkole Condolence Visit

The Ohafia chapter of the Vigilante Group led by her Coordinator, Mrs. Ifeoma Okereke paid him a commiseration visit following the glorious exit of his father, Late Chief Emmanuel Nkole Ndukwe.

Rt. Hon. Nkole encouraged them to remain dedicated to their duties and obligations adding that the Government of Abia State led by the visionary leader, Dr. Okezie Ikpeazu is leaving no stone unturned to ensure Abia is safe from the coronavirus spread.

Hon. Uko Nkole who expressed overwhelming gratitude to the group for identifying with him in this moment of bereavement, lauded the group’s efforts during the period of lockdown by ensuring that the people complies with the Government’s directives stay at home order and closing down of the borders to curb the spread of the deadly coronavirus.

Furthermore, he reminded them of the obligations of the the non-governmental political organization which among others, include putting at bay criminal activities, protection of the lives and property and at the same time, ensuing the apprehension of criminal and delivering same to the law enforcement agency.

In her speech, Mrs. Ifeoma who led the group expressed heart-felt sympathy over the demise of father of the Lawmaker over, as she prayed for the fortitude to bear the pain upon them.

“We understand the pain of losing one’s father, they prayed to God to give the Nkole’s family the strength to bear the irreparable loss and the peaceful repose of the soul of the departed in the LORD’S bosom who they described as an embodiment of intellect, peacemaker, community leader and a man who loves God’s work and humanity.

“Abians and Nigerians at large especially the Economic sector has lost a financial expert and banking guru whose experience, wisdom and ideas are needed especially now that the Economy is dwindling as a result of the lockdown imposed by the government occasioned by the emergence of covid-19 pandemic”

She further thanked the federal Lawmaker for alleviating the pains instilled by the lockdown order on the group through his palliative measures.

It would be recalled that Hon. Nkole, in line with his zeal to abate the burden posed by the menace of Coronavirus on the Government of Abia State, has provided in his Constituency and beyond, including different security outfits in the area with assorted food items personal protective equipment among other items.
