Atuma Takes APC Campaign to Okporo Ahaba, Highlights Road Challenges

Okporo Ahaba residents turned out to receive Emeka Atuma’s campaign team, as the APC candidate highlighted poor roads and pledged federal job opportunities and development projects for the community.

The ward-to-ward campaign tour of Hon. Emeka Atuma, the APC candidate for Abia Central Senatorial District, has reached Okporo Ahaba Ward 10 in Isiala Ngwa South Local Government Area of Abia State.

Atuma and his entourage were welcomed by a large gathering of residents who assembled at the community’s civic hall to receive the campaign team.

The visit attracted APC candidates, party leaders and members of the KABILA Campaign Council in Isiala Ngwa South, including the party’s candidates for the House of Representatives and the Abia State House of Assembly in the constituency.

The gathering provided an opportunity for Atuma to interact with residents and hear about some of the challenges confronting the community.

One of the issues highlighted during the visit was the poor condition of roads in Isiala Ngwa South. The campaign report noted that the state of the roads had made transportation difficult for local farmers seeking to move their agricultural produce to markets.

Addressing the residents, Atuma urged them to support the APC at the polls, presenting the party as an alternative for addressing the community’s development challenges.

He also promised that an APC-led government would work to create federal employment opportunities for young people, attract federal projects to the area and improve residents’ general well-being.

The ward-to-ward tour forms part of Atuma’s campaign activities across Abia Central Senatorial District as he engages communities and seeks support for his senatorial ambition.

The visit to Okporo Ahaba also brought attention to infrastructure and agricultural transportation challenges in Isiala Ngwa South, issues that remain important to residents whose livelihoods depend partly on farming and access to markets.
