Abia Central 2027: Pro-Atuma Groups Endorse Atuma for Senate

Emeka Atuma’s senatorial ambition has received a boost ahead of the 2027 elections, with support groups in Ikwuano-Umuahia declaring their backing for his APC candidacy.

Several support groups in Ikwuano-Umuahia have endorsed Rep. Emeka Atuma, the All Progressives Congress (APC) senatorial candidate for Abia Central Senatorial District, ahead of the 2027 general elections.

The groups declared their support at a gathering led by Chief Enyinna Nwakaibe, popularly known as Chief Ngwuru, who mobilised supporters from across the zone for the endorsement.

Atuma, in his response, thanked the leaders and members of the groups for their confidence in his candidacy, describing their support as encouraging.

He said the endorsement reflected their shared desire for better representation and development in Abia Central.

The senatorial hopeful assured the gathering that, if elected, he would prioritise effective representation, inclusive leadership and the interests of his constituents.

He also urged APC members and supporters to remain united and work together towards the party’s victory in the 2027 elections.

Atuma noted that grassroots mobilisation would be important to the party’s chances at the polls, acknowledging the role of the group leaders in building support across the zone.

The leaders, in turn, expressed confidence in his ability to represent the district and pledged to mobilise more supporters for his candidacy ahead of the elections.

They also reaffirmed their commitment to the APC and promised to intensify their efforts across the Ikwuano-Umuahia axis.
