Otiti, Odita Pledge Stronger Collaboration Among Online Media Practitioners
Two prominent media leaders are looking beyond individual organisations to strengthen professional unity, build strategic partnerships and advance online journalism in Nigeria.
GOMEP-NG President Akpovoke Otiti and DECAN President Odita Sunday have pledged stronger collaboration and professional unity among online media practitioners following a meeting in Abuja.
ABUJA — The National President of the Guild of Online Media Editors and Publishers of Nigeria (GOMEP-NG), Comrade Akpovoke Otiti, and the National President of DECAN, Comrade Odita Sunday, have reaffirmed their commitment to strengthening professional relationships and promoting greater collaboration among online media practitioners in Nigeria.
The media leaders made the commitment during a visit by Otiti to Odita at his office in Abuja over the weekend.
Otiti, who is also the Editor and Publisher of AjaziralReport Newspaper and Managing Director/Chief Executive Officer of Royal Palace Lodge, Asaba, said the engagement reflected the importance of building stronger relationships among media professionals and fostering cooperation across the new media industry.
Odita, the Editor and Publisher of RezorNewsng.com, warmly received his guest during the visit. He also presented Otiti with souvenirs and other gift items in recognition of their cordial relationship and shared commitment to advancing the interests of online media practitioners.
Popularly described as the Great Lord Mayor of Journalism, Odita hosted Otiti in an atmosphere of friendship and goodwill, further underscoring the value both leaders place on professional solidarity and mutual respect.
