A former youths group leader, and Governing Council Member, Hon. Obinna Mbah Ibiam has announced that the Federal government of Nigeria, under the leadership of President Bola Ahmed Tinubu, has approved of the establishment of Youth Dairy Farm Livestock Production Processing Zone Industry and the creation of thirty thousand (30,000) jobs in Abia State.
This, according to him, is in line with the APC led administration’s zeal to cushion the effects of the incessant inflation and food scarcity among the citizenry.
The former Senior Special Assistant and Special Adviser to Abia State Governors from 2007-2021, lauded South East Nigeria youths for their confidence reposed in the government of Governor Alex Otti of Abia State and President Tinubu GCFR administration.
Ibiam pointed out that the Renewed Hope Agenda On Youths Employment In Agriculture of President Tinubu GCFR is real and poised to revolutionize youths’ development thus channelling the generation of Nigeria Youths’ youthful energy into immense production, processing and marketing of different food products as a source of wealth creation for Nigeria.
The ebullient youth leader who has overtime, displayed an exemplary lifestyle of loyalty to constituted authority posited that the project of President Tinubu would in no doubt, aid in curbing the drastic effects of unemployment, food inflation, farmers – herders clash, cattle rustling, as well as the incessant kidnapping in SouthEast and Nigeria in general.
Speaking further, Ibiam revealed that, the Animal Husbandry Department of the Federal Ministry For Agriculture and Food Security under the coordinating Minister, Distinguished Senator Abubakar Kyari would partner an American West Africa Agric Group Limited Jerry Cunningham, Federal Ministry For Agriculture and Food Security Abia State.
Continuing, he said: “similarly, National Roots Crops Research Institute and Micheal Okpara University of Agriculture Umudike and Abia State Ministry For Agriculture Umuahia will partner with the Presidency for establishment of Standard Smart Sustainable Dairy Farm Livestock Production Processing Zone Industry first of it’s kind in Nigeria to further showcase President Tinubu GCFR love for Southeast Nigeria Development and Nation Building to leave the 36 States and FCT of Nigeria much more better than he met the Nation.
Ibiam used the medium to urge the youths of Abia State to support the Governor whom he noted was determined to better the lot of the people of Abia, describing Governor Alex Otti of Abia State as the Messiah and divine liberator of the State (aka. God’s own State),
The illustrious son of Abia made the commendations on behalf of Abia Youths Leader of Concerned Igbo Leaders Forum, shortly after the safe arrival of 300 Abia youths, who participated in the June 2024 sponsored training and capacity building in different Agricultural skills organised by Governors for youths.
Ibiam thanked the Governor for his magnanimity towards Abia Youths, hence their acquisition of modern techniques for commercial farming Systems to boost Food Security in the State and across the country.
