OUK 2023: Sure Way To Reap
Dividends Of Democracy, Cleric Tells Nigerians

The Senior Pastor of Destiny Star Assembly, Bishop Dr. Theophilus Ekeng has urged the Chief Whip of the Senate, Senator Orji Uzor Kalu to prepare for “higher responsibilities” in 2023.

According to him, Kalu’s track record, leadership qualities and managerial skills were needed to transform Nigeria.

Recall that the former Abia state governor had told Nigerians that he would run for president if the position is zoned to the South.

Ekeng, in a sermon titled: The David of our time, said God has transformed the Kalu of yesterday with an oil of grace and mercy.

According to him: “Kalu should be prepared for higher responsibilities in 2023 because the time is now. To everything there is a season,
A time for every purpose under heaven:
A time to be born, And a time to die;
A time to plant, And a time to pluck what is planted;
A time to kill, And a time to heal;
A time to break down, And a time to build up.

“This is the time to build Nigeria. It is time to heal to broken hearted. Nigerians should rise now and embrace a man of dignity and honour; that man is Senator Orji Uzor Kalu.

“In 2007, he was frustrated by those in Abuja. They framed and lied against him. These people wanted to destroy him but God didn’t allow that happen. There was a reason for that. By 2023, you all will know that the God I serve is a faithful God. He is elevating Kalu to a higher responsibility.

“To steady the ship of the Nigerian state, Nigerians must elect a candidate who has the capacity and demonstrated ability to deliver as president in 2023.

“The tales of godfatherism, personal ambitions, greed, “who’s turn is next”, and similar vices have been some of the biggest roadblocks to Nigeria’s socio-economic and political development since Independence.

“Unfortunately, these have always been at the detriment of a nation with a population of over 200 million people – most of who strive daily to make ends meet.

“If Nigerians must start to reap the benefit of democracy, they must pay utmost attention to the presidential ambition of Senator Orji Uzor Kalu, who is also the Chief Whip of the Nigerian Senate.

“Senator Kalu is a detribalised Nigerian, international businessman, serial entrepreneur and philanthropist per excellence and someone with the fear of God,” he said.
