IPOB: Peter Obi, Senator Abaribe, Others driven Off Campaign Ground In Anambra

Members of the Indigenous People of Biafra, IPOB today, allegedly stormed Onitsha, Anambra State, today, dispersing everyone, among whom were former Governor of Anambra State, Peter Obi and Senator Enyinnaya Abaribe of Abia Weetalknaija reports.

The act as perceived was intended to disrupt the ongoing campaign in readiness for the forthcoming Anambra Governorship election, slated for November 6.

A source disclosed that Obi, Abaribe, and other bigwigs of the PDP had visited the ‘Ogbo Ogwu’ market in Onitsha South to campaign for the Party’s candidate in the upcoming November 6th Anambra Guber Elections, Valentine Ozigbo, when IPOB members struck.

Eyewitness reports reveal that chants of ‘Nnamdi Kanu is another Saviour’ broke out as the Politicians tried to address the traders.

Upon realising the increase in the chants and agitations, they quickly left the Market Premises.
