2027: — Kabilla Movement Rallies Abia Central Behind Atuma
“As political momentum begins to build ahead of the 2027 elections, a strong message of continuity, development, and people-focused leadership is emerging from Abia Central Senatorial District. The Kabilla Movement has reignited conversations around leadership credibility, pointing to Hon. Emeka Atuma’s past achievements as a compelling reason for his anticipated return to the national stage.”
“The Atuma Movement has endorsed Rt. Hon. Emeka Atuma for Abia Central Senatorial District ahead of the 2027 elections, citing his track record in infrastructure, healthcare, and community development as key reasons for their support.”
The Atuma Movement has extended warm “Happy New Month” wishes to the people of Abia Central Senatorial District, while reaffirming its support for the political aspirations of Rt. Hon. Emeka Atuma ahead of the 2027 general elections.
In a statement made available to Famous Reporters on April 1, 2026, the group described the new month as “a renewed moment of hope and momentum” for the district, urging constituents to reflect on what it termed Atuma’s “impactful and people-driven leadership” during his tenure in the House of Representatives.
Hon. Atuma, who represented Ikwuano/Umuahia North and South Federal Constituency in 2011, was credited with delivering critical infrastructure and social amenities across communities. According to the statement, his tenure saw the provision of potable drinking water, rural electrification projects, and the construction of standard road networks enhanced with solar-powered street lighting.
“These projects did not only improve living standards but also brought safety, visibility, and aesthetic value to our communities, especially at night,” the statement noted.
The group further emphasized that Atuma’s commitment to grassroots development did not end with his time in office, stating that he has remained “actively engaged in advancing community welfare, with a consistent focus on the needs and aspirations of the people.”
Describing him as “a sound appropriator and proven goal-getter,” the Atuma Movement maintained that his leadership style is anchored on a “people-first agenda” that prioritizes job creation, accessible healthcare, quality education, and sustainable infrastructure.
“‘Kabilla is the natural choice to take Abia Central to the next level in 2027,’” the statement declared, adding that his vision aligns with the district’s aspirations for inclusive growth and prosperity.
The group concluded by calling on residents and stakeholders across Abia Central to “rally behind Rt. Hon. Emeka Atuma, the champion and face of the district’s progress.”
