Ahead of the 2023 general election, the Labour Party candidate for Osisioma Ngwa North State Constituency, Hon. Chief Iheyinna Mgbeahuru has charged the stakeholders of the party to remain united and work committedly to ensure victory for the party on all sides.

Chief Mgbeahuru gave this charge during his meeting with the stakeholders of the Labour party in Osisioma Ngwa Local Government at his office, saying that the party
has come to take over power from the ruling party, not only in Abia state but also at the national level.

He noted that with Mr. Peter Obi as the presidential candidate and Dr. Alex Otti as the Governorship candidate of “our great party in Abia state, everything is now set to oust the ruling parties APC and PD.

He, therefore, urged the stakeholders to be alive to their responsibilities in any position they occupy, adding that the party will not condone with any form of sluggishness.

The candidate of Osisioma Ngwa North State Constituency, however, urged the stakeholders, ward chairmen and ward coordinators to mobilize their people to obtain their permanent voters cards as it remains their power to elect candidates of their choice during the elections.

In their separate contributions, the Labour party candidate for Osisioma Ngwa South State Constituency, Hon. Chibueze Nwokocha and his campaign director, Hon. Ndubuisi Evoeme thanked chief Iheyinna Mgbeahuru for hosting the meeting and advised the stakeholders not to relent in their struggle until success is achieved.

In his vote of thanks, the campaign Director General, Osisioma Ngwa Local Government, Chief Innocent Alozie expressed joy over his choice as Campaign Director-General and promised to work hard to ensure victory for the Labour Party in Osisioma Ngwa Local Government as well as Abia State and Nigeria in general.

Meanwhile, the meeting attracted eminent personalities in the Labour Party including the Labour Party Senatorial Candidate for Abia Central Senatorial Zone, Chief Darlington Nwokocha, ably represented by Chief Chibunna Nwanosike, former Deputy Chairman, IsialaNgwa North L.G.A.
