Rep. Onuigbo: A democrat at heart, in action, Pushed Out of PDP by men who rule by impunity… APC Active Youths Forum

The APC Active Youths Forum Abia State have described Lawmaker representing Ikwuano/Umuahia North and South Federal Constituency, Hon Sam Onuigbo. ‘Odozi Obodo’ as democrat at heart, in action, who was wrongfully pushed out  of PDP by men who rule by impunity and nepotism in the state.

The group warned sternly certain elements it described as idle hands and gossip mongers to find something to occupy them rather than causing distractions for the hard working and focused lawmaker representing Ikwuano/Umuahia North and South Federal Constituency, Hon Sam Onuigbo. ‘Odozi Obodo’.

This is contained in a statement signed by Comrade Sunday Kasarachi, the State coordinator of the group and made available to newsmen in Umuahia, the state’s capital.

The group reiterates that the good spirited Legislator has since assumption of office, been focused, determined to attracting development and deepening Democracy in Nigeria, and consequently, does not deserve any iota of distraction, whatsoever.

The statement reads in detail:

 “We, leaders and members of APC Active Youths Forum Abia State are appalled by the incoherent, chaotic ramblings of a certain group masquerading as PDP Grassroot Movement which recently caused its ramblings to be published in a certain online platform

“While we fully subscribe to the Constitutional and universal human rights of freedom of speech, we frown at such rights being abused or used as a distraction for other members of the society, especially those entrusted with some assignments for the betterment of society.

“The PDP group choosed to make Chief Sam Onuigbo the topic of its irrelevant and idiotic chatter, and we urge them to desist and keep off. Let them focus rather on the unmitigated disaster and retrogression in all sectors that the PDP administration has since 1999 unleashed on Abians.

“They ought to hide their faces in shame or keep apologising profusely to Abians if they chose at all to speak.

“Need we remind these PDP idle hands that from 1999 to 2015 that the PDP administration at the Federal level turned a blind eye to the Umuahia -Ikwuano – Ikot Ekpene highway. This all important road linking to other international highways deteriorated to the point it became a killing grounds for innocent Nigerians, especially youths. If not for the several legislative interventions of Chief Sam Onuigbo, perhaps these economic artery would have been shut down like its Aba counterpart which for the past ten years had been closed in account of its deterioration.

“From its chaotic and drunken chatter, we cannot help coming to the conclusion that the PDP always seeks to be associated with under-development, retrogression and backwardness.

“Rational thinking Nigerians never stop praying for the coming of another Chief Sam Onuigbo after he got the Federal Government awarded the contract for the full rehabilitation of this road three years ago. When funding for the contract was not forthcoming, causing an unceremonious early exit of the contractor which had mobilised to site; Did Chief Sam Onuigbo fold his hands like these PDP idle gossipers and make excuses? No. He plodded corridors, he knocked on doors, he consulted with powers that matter and today contractors are back in site as the contract has been placed on a special funding funnel.

“How dare these PDP layabouts rather than show appreciation to Chief Sam L

Onuigbo, open their mouth to talk of Court ruling there, and court ruling here?

” Let them wake up from their apeteshe-induced hallucination and smell the salt.

” Hello PDP Grassroots Movement or whatsoever called, Hello? Wake up! its a brand new day. Chief Sam Onuigbo is a due process respecting politician, a democrat at heart and in action. Pushed out of the PDP by men who rule by impunity and despotism, Chief Sam Onuigbo chosed the option any law-abiding politician would have chosen

 “Maybe these characters have forgotten what Rivers state governor, Chief Nyesom Wike had to say on the matter.?

“Ikwuano/Umuahia North and South Federal Constituency is neither Ebonyi nor Cross River state and thus will not suffer from your so-called domino effect!

“Rather than issue releases in half- baked English, go to court if you have any misgivings that Chief Sam Onuigbo is in APC. Until you do and receive a ruling, refrain from distracting a good man, an excellent legislator dutifully serving his constituents”
