Senator Osakwe’s Demise: Gbagi Commiserates With Family

Barely an hour after the news of the death of Senator Patrick Osakwe filtered into the air, leading governorship aspirant in Delta State, Olorogun Barr. Kenneth Gbagi, this morning, precisely 12:30 am condoled with the family of the late Senator who died in a London hospital.

”It was with deep regret that I learned of the sad news of the passing of Senator Patrick Osakwe.

Osakwe, who served as Senator representing Delta north senatorial district in the National Assembly (NASS), made an invaluable contribution to strengthening Nigeria’s democratic foundations.

His measured and constructive domestic policies contributed to stability and peace in the country.

I knew the late Senator Patrick Osakwe as a great friend, a firm supporter of equity, fairness, justice and someone who did a great deal to expand and deepen democracy.
