Continuing from where he stopped last week, Chairman of the Lagos State Arewa Community (LASACOM), Honorable, Architect, Ahmed Kabiru Abdullahi, in collaboration with Lagos State Council of Arewa Chiefs, on Sunday, March 17, 2024, organized a special prayer for Nigeria’s President, Asiwaju Bola Ahmed Tinubu, Nigeria and Lagos State.

The event, which was initiated and held under the chairmanship of the LASACOM leader, took place at the popular Arewa House, located on Capitol road, Agege, with members of the two organizing bodies, including numerous Serikis, market leaders, elder statesmen and numerous other stakeholders from across the length and breadth of Lagos State in attendance.

Invited clerics from across various Arewa community residents in the State, carried out a dedicated session of Quranic recitation, which culminated into a fervent prayer for the success of the Asiwaju Bola Ahmed Tinubu led Federal Government, Lagos State and the nation at large.

Responding to questions on the motive behind the prayer exercise, Honorable Kabiru, who is the immediate past Commissioner of Waterfront Infrastructure Development in Lagos State, said it was a continuation of LASACOM’s long term tradition; he added that, it was also a way to lend their spiritual support to the current government in its drive to engender shared prosperity on a greater scale for the Nigerian citizenry. #KabiruAgegeTinubu.

The LASACOM leader had on Saturday,March 9, 2024, carried out an economic empowerment scheme at the same venue during which he empowered one thousand three hundred LASACOM members with cash in the respective categories of hundred thousand naira for hundred persons, fifty thousand naira for two hundred persons and twenty thousand naira for one thousand persons successfully.

He had, while, speaking to media men during the empowerment exercise last week, noted that it was directed at refuelling petty traders stock in the face of current economic hardship battling Nigerians due to the audacious economic reforms being activated by the Asiwaju Bola Ahmed Tinubu led government; he seized the opportunity to call on political office holders across the three tiers of government to demonstrate emphaty for their constituents through similar schemes adopted by LASACOM to alleviate the current temporary inconveniences being faced by the masses.
