YULETIDE: Gov SA, Onyeneke Lauds Imolites Over Peaceful Conduct
*Calls for support for govt programmes

The Special Adviser to the Governor on Imo Orientation Agency, Chief Dr. Fidel Onyeneke has hailed Imo people for the high level of peace and security recorded in the various Communities of the State during the Yuletide and New Year celebrations.

Chief Onyeneke said in Owerri on Monday, that the conducive atmosphere which prevailed, buttressed the determination of the people to assist in the efforts of the government to further accelerate the development of the State.

He observed that the administration of Senator Hope Uzodinma made great commitment towards ensuring harmonious co-existence and peaceful relationship in the State for adequate protection of lives and property.

Chief Onyeneke however regretted the action of some persons who used Fake information especially in the Social media to fan embers of insecurity,and urged them to refrain from such unpatriotic attitude.

The Special Adviser assured Imo people that the state would enjoy unprecedented dividends of democracy as the second tenure of Governor Uzodinma commences next week.

Chief Onyeneke urged the masses to continue to support the giant programs of the government, aimed at further uplifting the living standard of Imo residents.

He described the reelection of Governor Uzodinma as unprecedented,and called for the massive involvement of all and sundry during the Governor’s inauguration next week.
Chief Onyeneke appealed to the people to shun all acts of violence and criminality,but rather engage on projects that would enhance oneness,unity and growth in the Society.
