Speaking with Famous Reporters, Barr. Chiedozie pointed out that his office had keyed into the provission of quality roads to suit Governor Okezie Ikpeazu’s policy, hence the construction of rigid pavements at the various sites.

In his words: “His style is that any road you build you must make sure it lasts and that’s the main reason we went for this rigid pavement because it lasts longer than these other ones”.

Furthermore, he frowned at Aba residents who, according to him, have converted the drainage channels at Faulks road to a dump site, to desist from, the act.

Hear him: “We have some challenges, for instance, if you go to faulks road, in Aba, you will see people dumping refuse into the drainage channels. Once those drainage channels are blocked, water will flow back to the road and when water flows back to the road, no matter how strong the asphalt is, it will damage the roads”, he informed.
