The younger brother of the newly married lady whose wedding turned tragic, has disclosed that the people of Awo-Omamma Community rather lost a total of 21 young men who attended their brother’s traditional marriage, in the hands of Ebubeagu Security Network, in Imo State.

This contradicts vividly the initial information which states that the number of youths who were brutally killed was fourteen (14).

It could be recalled that youths of Awo-Omamma, in Oru East were killed in cold-blood by members of Ebubeagu while they were returning from Otulu where they had attended the traditional wedding ceremony of their brother.

The younger brother of the lady who did traditional wedding has narrated what transpired during the wedding ceremony.

Narrating the gory incident, the young boy said while the wedding was going on, Ebubeagu came to the venue and accused them of holding IPOB meeting.

Speaking amidst tears to Sahara Reporters, he said the people came to collect a marriage list from his father, but Ebubeagu came and killed them.

 

According to the heartbroken boy, the terrorists carted away their valuable property among which were generator, solar panel, foam, and “N150,000 I kept inside my bag was also stolen by men of Ebubeagu. They also said were our food, other property, power bank and charger.

The boy who is the last born of the family said Ebubeagu didn’t stop there, they went to his brother’s house and broke all the windows and doors and carried everything. He said the dead bodies he saw on the road were up to 21, including Okada Riders that were also killed.

 

The young boy said that their house was also burnt down by Ebubeagu.
