The matriach who was the first daughter of late Mr. Emmanuel Nwoko and Mrs. Mercy Ochonma Nwoko, (Nee Otiri) of Umuaguta in Umugo-Oloko, Ikwuano Local Government Area of Abia State, died on May 6, 2024 at age 80, during an illness.
In his homily, Rev. Paul Emeka, Senior Pastor at Christian Pentecost Mission, Mbausi who spoke on the topic:
‘What Will You Leave Behind’, described perfection as a virtue that could not be found in anyone.
“It is good to love good things but the grace of God upon our lives enables us

He, however, wailed that the love of money had overridden the place of God in the lives of living, adding that “the word of God makes us understand that the love of money is the beginning of evil”.
Rev. Paul reminded that no one returned to the grave with his wealth whatsoever, stressing that “on the day of judgment, no money will come to the judgement seat. So, if that is the case, ask yourself a question.
“Mama Kachi has gathered us here, so she’s the reason for our gathering and this is a moment of crusade to bring repentance to every soul who desires to be saved.
Speaking further, he expressed that there was no second chance for anyone who departed from the earth, as he urged the congregation to turn a new leaf from their evil ways, saying this might be a day of repentance from you.”
Drawing from his anchor scripture, Acts 8:2; 9:36,39, the clergy urged the living to emulate a good Christian lifestyle as exhibited by the deceased, lamenting that they will be remembered by their legacies, as he appealed to all to desist from sin and embrace godliness.

“Different people cry for their loved ones when they die for different reasons. You that are living, do people who know you have good testimonials about you? If your answer is no, then, you must begin to have a change of lifestyle. I want you to know that whatever you do today awaits you.
“If you’re an evil man or woman and you can hear me now, if you don’t repent between now and December 31, you’ll die!”
Earlier, testifiers, described late mama Mbubo as she was fondly called by many a devout Christian and a devoted member of Christian Pentecost Mission, Mbubo
This is even as friends, well -wishers and relatives urged the living to endeavor to emulate the lifestyle of the deceased, describing her as a peace lover, peace maker and a kind hearted woman.
In their tribute, Christian Pentecostal Mission Mbubo outlined that the deceased was famous for her godly lifestyle with zero tolerance for evil, as they urged the congregation and the immediate family to strive to emulate her footprints.
“Mama Cathrine was a lovely, loving and cheerful woman.
“She was a lover of humanity and never withheld any food gift from the needy.

Continuing, he wrote: “I find it difficult to believe that you’re no more. Words can’t express how much I love and cherish you as my mother. mama your good heart and calm character is worthy of emulation
“you were always content with what you had, your love towards me was top-notch. Nnem oma, wherever you are now always remember that you have created a vacuum in my heart.
“Mama, with deep tears in my eyes I write to say goodbye till that resurrection morning. I can’t question God about ur death. I sincerely wish you well on this journey of no return, I pray and believe you are on the right hand side of your creator. Mama, may your soul rest in peace.
