The Division described the allegation of massacre as baseless, saying it is targeted at causing anarchy in the country. The Nigerian Army has announced its preparedness to commence its annual military exercise tagged Operation Crocodile Smile nationwide with effect on October 20. Troops Kill 100 Bandits, Nab 148 in North West

The Nigerian Army today, Saturday revealed that troops of Operation Sahel Sanity had killed 100 armed bandits and busted 148 others in its ongoing onslaughts against the predatory hoodlums terrorizing North-West region of the country. The Nigerian soldiers also nicked 315 illegal armed miners and recovered 3,984 cows, 1,627 sheep in Katsina, Zamfara Kebbi and Sokoto States.
