BREAKING NEWS: Four dead, five missing In Sokoto boat mishap The government of Sokoto State has confirmed the death of four passengers which occurred in a boat mishap that occurred at Kojiyo village, Goronyo Local Council of the state. The boat which conveyed the passengers capsized at about 1:pm, last Sunday, along the Sokoto Rima River. Reacting to the misfortune in a statement on Friday, the State government, through its Director-General, Media and Publicity, Abubakar Bawa, also confirmed that five passengers were missing, while 41 others were successfully rescued.
