Troops rescue 180 kidnap victims, arrest 450 terrorists in Southeast, others The Nigerian military says it has successfully rescued 180 kidnapped civilians, arrested 450 terrorists and bandits, across the country. According to the Defence Headquarters, the troops achieved the significant breakthroughs in its operations against insecurity across the country in the month of September 2025. The Defense headquarters disclosed this today, Saturday, October 4, 2025, stressing that the troops also killed scores of criminal elements during raids and counter-attacks.
