Following the death of the former Commissioner for Environment of Abia state, Hon  Solomon Ogunji, Gov. Okezie Ikpeazu has directed all the LG chairmen and their deputies to submit themselves to compulsory COVID-19 test, after testing negative for same. The governor announced that the result of  his blood sample collected on Saturday was out, and that it tested negative. Ikpeazu in a press statement he personally signed, on Tuesday, however regretted that two of his aides tested positive to the pandemic.
