Sudden Death Of Close Friends, Relatives Feels Like Nightmare, Rep. Onuigbo
…As he mourns Chibuike Erondu

Rep. Sam Onuigbo, the member representing Ikwuano/Umuahia North and South Federal Constituency, and the All Progressives Congress Candidate for Abia Central Senatorial District,
has expressed pains over the shocking demise of Chief Chibuike Erondu.

Rep. Onuigbo, amidst melancholy, described Erondu’s death, as well as death of other close friends and relatives as “a nightmare that would not go away”, as he struggled with shock and disbelief.

The Lawmaker stated this yesterday, when he paid a condolence visit to the deceased’s family, at Isiala Ngwa South L.G.A,

Reportedly, late Chief Erondu until his death, had been a die-hard Chieftain of the All Progressives Congress in his Isiala Ngwa South country home, and a dependable ally of Rep Onuigbo and the Odozi-Obodo family.

Expressing his condolence, Rep Onuigbo said, “On behalf of myself, my household, the Odozi-Obodo family, the good great people of Ikwuano/Umuahia North and South Federal Constituency whom I represent at the National Assembly, Abuja, and by the special grace of God, Abia Central Senatorial District, whom I hope to represent in the nearest future, I condole with you. His death is a monumental loss, but I urge you to be strong and keep faith in God, who wills all things”.

Furthermore, Odozi-Obodo describe Late Chief Erondu as a good, honest and dependable gentleman, adding, “who as a strong pillar, stood firmly in defence of truth and humanity.

In his vote of thanks, Chief Erondu Jonathan, kinsman to the deceased, on behalf of the family, expressed profound joy at Rep Onuigbo’s visit. He thanked Rep Onuigbo for identifying with their family in this time of grief as he had in their time of joy, and prayed for God’s grace in his life and that of members of his entourage.

Meanwhile, late Erondu is survived by his two wives, Mrs. Chioma and Mrs Stella Erondu, and his two children, Master Victory Erondu and Miss Winnie Erondu.
