‘Seven Seas’ Claim: Anambra Pastor Accused of Repeatedly Sleeping with Teen During ‘Deliverance’
“A deeply disturbing allegation has emerged from Anambra State, where a teenage girl’s desperate cry for help has brought to light claims of abuse, manipulation, and betrayal of trust involving a religious leader who was meant to offer spiritual guidance.”

The victim claims repeated abuse and forced intake of substances to terminate the pregnancy. The suspect is currently in custody as investigations continue.”
Operatives of the Special Anti-Touting Squad (SASA) in Anambra State have arrested Evangelist Dozie Favour Ezani, the General Overseer of Jesus Is Ontop Ministry, Amichi, in Nnewi South Local Government Area, over allegations of sexually abusing and impregnating a 16-year-old girl during a purported deliverance session.
The arrest followed a report lodged by a security personnel from Igboukwu, a neighbouring community where the incident allegedly occurred.
Speaking while presenting the victim before journalists in Awka, the spokesperson of the agency, Karen James, disclosed that the teenager, identified as Precious Okafor, was handed over to the cleric by her aunt for “special deliverance” due to alleged behavioural concerns.
According to the agency, suspicion arose after it was discovered that the victim was pregnant. Upon interrogation, she reportedly identified the cleric as responsible. The suspect is currently in police custody.
Preliminary findings indicate that the alleged abuse began in November 2025, shortly after the victim arrived at the suspect’s residence.
Narrating her ordeal, the victim said:
“Daddy Ezani started having forceful sex with me a few days after I arrived in his house for the deliverance. My aunt took me there without my mother’s consent.”
She further alleged that the cleric justified his actions using spiritual claims:
“He told them I came from the ‘seven seas of the world’ and needed urgent deliverance.”
The teenager claimed the abuse occurred repeatedly across different locations, including the church premises, the suspect’s residence, and his farm.
“He threatened to kill me if I told anyone,” she said.
The victim also alleged that she was given herbal mixtures in an attempt to terminate the pregnancy, leading to ongoing health complications.
“I am experiencing bleeding due to the substances he gave me. I urgently need medical attention,” she appealed.
She called on the Anambra State Government, NGOs, and well-meaning Nigerians to assist her with urgent medical care.
The suspect, who reportedly admitted to the allegations in a viral video, pleaded for leniency, attributing his actions to “the devil.” He also confessed to administering herbal concoctions in an attempt to conceal the pregnancy and offered to cover the victim’s medical expenses.
SASA, established under the administration of Chukwuma Soludo alongside other security outfits such as Agunechemba and Udo-Ga-Achi, continues its crackdown on criminal activities in the state.
Authorities have confirmed that investigations are ongoing, and the suspect will be prosecuted in accordance with the law.
