“I will not allow you feel the bitter test of Coronavirus pandemic because you have chosen me to serve you at the House of Representatives”.
Those were the words of the Member representing Arochukwu/Ohafia federal constituency, Rt. Hon. Uko Nkole as he delivered assorted palliative materials to the traditional rulers of his constituency, still his burning quest to deaden the adverse effects of the global disaster in the area.
Hon. Nkole, represented by Hon. Okoro Okeke, PDP stakeholder, Abiriba and Mr. Dimgba Ejieke, TC councillor, Agborji ward, Abiriba while delivering the items charged the people to adhere strictly to government’s stipulated preventive measures.
“You have sent me to the Federal House of Representatives and I have sworn to ensure your happiness. And I urge you to maintain the social distancing policy and ensure that you wash your hands regularly with soap. This shall soon become a thing of the past but I want to assure you that I have you always in my heart.”
The items which were delivered at the residence of Enachioken of Abiriba and the second Deputy Chairman, Abia State Council of Ndi Eze, HRM Eze K. K. Ogbu comprised bags of rice, hand sanitizers, liquid soap, among others, were received by Mr. Ejieke Osiri on behalf of Abiriba community.
Similarly, relief items for Nkporo Community were delivered at the palace of Eze Aja of Nkporo Okwe Ancient kingdom, HRM. Eze Dr. Patrick O. Ogbuagu and were received by his wife and other Nkporo stakeholders.
Speaking, Elder Uga Kalu, Secretary OIU Inc and Mr. Acha Nnate, Secretary, Elu Council of Chiefs who received the items mapped out for Ohafia Improvement Union, (OIU) and Elu Council of Chiefs, respectively, thanked the House Member, while reiterating their unalloyed commitment and support for him.
Our Correspondent disclosed that the section had in attendance the Transition Chairman, Arochukwu LGA, Hon. Onyema Ogbuagu, Chief Don. Emeka Emeri, Mr. Amaechi Udoka who delivered the items to Ohafia community on behalf of Hon. Uko Nkole
