There is tension among other contestants in Ohaukwu local government area of Ebonyi state following the obtainment of nomination and interest form by the incumbent local government chairman.
Addressing his supporters, yesterday, shortly after obtaining the form at people’s democratic party office along Abakaliki Enugu express way, Hon. Barrister Clement Omekannaya Odah pledged his unalloyed commitment to the council, if reelected.
Hon. Odah who recounted on the remarkable feats he has accomplished for the entire ohaukwu local government, assured the people of positive foot- prints if he is returned to office .
Furthermore, Hon. Odah, with an aura of confidence, boasted of having achieved within a sketch of three years in office, greater success for the council than his predecessors, who according to him, laid the foundation.
The council boss commended the effort of Governor Umahi for the priviledge given to him to serve under his administration, as he promised to extend kind gestures to Ohaukwu local government if given opportunity to serve again.
He used the medium to extoll project executed while in the office, while disclosing that his administration has inaugurated joint task force in their quest e eradicate cultists in the areas.
“The administration has recorded uncommon transformation by grading major roads of three clan that made up of Ohaukwu local government”, he said.
It would be recalled that Odah’s administration had repaired the road leading to Ekwashi Ngbo, Umugudu Akpu, Umugudu Oshie, Ezzangbo and concrete road at Effium among others .
Meanwhile, the event attracted so many stakeholders of the party who massively drummed support for Clement Omekannaya Odah, saying “he deserves second tenure to continue his quality leadership style in the area”, they declared.
