Nigerian Army Begs Ebonyi Youths To Obtain Military Form

Brigadier Emmanuel Henry Akpan has enjoined youths of Ebonyi state to join the Nigerian Army saying the military in the country has undergone notable transformations.

The Army General made this call when he led a team of team of Nigeria Army  in charge of recruitment on a sensitisation tour in the state, pointing out that embracing the military would be advantageous to the youths, it would enable them earn a living.

Brigadier Akpan who educated the youths on the positive impacts of the military in youths, as mandated by the chief of army staff,
appealed to the state government to avail them eleven names of their youths in order to have them registered.

He said: “the chief of army staff has directed us to visit all the states to educate youth on the positive impacts of joining Nigeria Army and we plead with the state government to give us first eleven names to register with Nigeria army .
  

Responding, the Ebonyi state Governor, Engr. David Umahi, represented by his Deputy,
Barrister Kelechi Eric Igwe described Ebonyi as the most peaceful state which habours security personnels.

According to him, “Operation Patton Dance launched in the state by the men of Nigeria army was removed due to relationship between state government and Nigeria army staff”.

He further assured that Ebonyi youths were ever ready to key into the Nigeria army in their bid to make better the Nigeria nation .

Meanwhile, the  state executives among whom was the State Secretary to the Governor, SSG,  Dr. Kenneth Ugbala commended the team of the Nigerian Army for what he noted as a well deserved orientation.
