MURDER OF DELTA COUPLE: Ayonmike Family Intensifies Search For Murderer, Offers N2m Cash Reward
As weeks crawled into months and months into years, the bereaved families of Pa Joseph Oritseretsolokumi Ayonmike and his wife, Dr. Shirley Chinyere Ayonmike have vowed to stop at nothing in ensuring that the vicious murderer of the couple is brought to book, inspite of all oddities.
To this effect, the families of the deceased have, recently issued a cash reward of N2m to any one with vital information that could facilitate the apprehension of the driver who allegedly killed the couple in cold blood about two years ago.

Reportedly, the fleeing driver is the prime suspect of the heinous crime and the two families have solicited public inputs in solving the “deliberate, intentional and brutal” murder of the Ayonmikes, saying that the gruesome incidence was a nightmare that would not go away easily.
The deceased couple was on Friday, June 25, 2021, gruesomely murdered in their residence, at N0 28, Mabiaku Road, (Nana College Road), GRA in Warri.
Famousreeporters.com gathered that Pa Joseph Ayonmike, an 83-year-old was a man of culture and immense intellect whereas his wife, Dr. Chinyere Shirley Ayonmike, Opera Soloist, Duetist, Technical Vocational Education and Training (TVET) expert and senior lecturer at the Delta State University Abraka.
They were said to have been shot, stabbed and cut with machetes.
Their driver, Chukwunonso Nwogu (Nonso) alias Drey, Kelly, Derek, was suspected to be the murderer and his whereabouts since the incidence is yet to be ascertained.
He has been declared wanted by the Nigerian Police since 2021 in connection with the murder.
The prime suspect hails from Isialangwa Local Government Area of Abia State.
