In continuation of Senator Dr.Orji Uzor Kalu’s Resolve to prioritize Education as a tool for Human Capital Development, The esteemed Presence of the lawmaker, on Tuesday 10th-Oct-2023, was heavily Felt in Igbere, Alayi, Ugwueke and Item, Respectively, in sustenance of his Legislative legacy of impact.
The team, led by Senator Kalu’s Legislative Assistant For Bende LGA, Barr Ifeanyi Igwe, stormed Ezi-Igbere Community Primary School, Okafia Igbere, Amankalu Alayi Primary School, Amaeze Primary School Ugwueke And Akanu Primary School Item, All in Bende LGA, and distrubuted thousands of free Educational Materials to the pupils amidst massive jocularity.
Reacting to Senator Kalu’s sustenance of the bombardment of Educational Materials geared towards Academic enhancement cum advancement across Abia North Senatorial District, Community Leaders and head teachers of the aforementioned Community schools showered unquantifiable encomium on the award winning Senator, and Prayed for God’s blessings and direction upon the people’s Senator, while assuring Senator Kalu of their solid support for his Fructiferous Legislative Superintendence In Abia North Senatorial District.
Senator Kalu’s Passion for Education is never alien to Abians, as he pragmatically demonstrated his love for Education through favourable Educational policies in Abia during his time as Governor from May 29, 1999, to May 29, 2007. As a Lawmaker, Senator Kalu, has continued to sustain the momentum through bombardment of Educational Materials, Reconstruction and renovation of Schools and his Recent Bill On Education titled: “Compulsory Free Universal Basic Education Act (Amendment Bill S.B. 31, 2023”. which has passed it’s first reading at the Senate.
