There was pandemonium among residents of Umuahia this afternoon, as a bus conductor killed a stubborn gigantic Agbro in defense of his bus driver, at a shop, in close proximity to the NUJ Press Center, along Aba road, in Abia state capital.
Famous Reporters who was on the scene of the incident disclosed that the fight between the two warring parties began at gate over an undisclosed argument.
A serious fight ensued when the hefty looking Agbro pounced on the bus driver with a small body-built, leaving him with bruises all over his face, as blood hysterically gushed out of his mouth.
The fight lingered for not fewer than thirty minutes as the Agbro relentlessly followed the driver to about 50km away from where they started.
All efforts by both passers-by and shop owners to calm the Agbro down failed as even a mobile police officer at the gave up after several futile attempts.
Meanwhile, the bus Conductor had among others pleaded with the Agbro but all suggestions were like a bucket of water off a duck’s back as the huge Agbro persistently punched his victim non-stop , to the sympathy of viewers.
Some couple of minutes, after several failed attempts, the conductor, unable to bear the pains being inflicted on his boss, as he surprisingly struck the stubborn Agbro with a heavy metal object, leaving him motionless on the spot.
Meanwhile, all efforts to reach the PPRO Mr Godfrey Ogbonna, or the police commissioner, CP Ene Okon were futile, as the duo could not respond to several calls at the time of filing this report.
