Ikechukwu Ugbala Foundation Complements Umahi’s Efforts …Read What Happened To 51 Indigent Students

In her quest to drive home the outstanding efforts of the government, Ikechukwu Ugbala foundation, a Non Governmental Organization, NGO has awarded scholarships to over 51 indigent students, in Amoffia Ukawa, in Onitcha local government Area of Ebonyi state .

Speaking with Newsmen, the donnor Mr Ikechukwu Ugbala pointed out that his magnanimity towards the people was borne out of his willingness and unreserved love for education, hence the zeal elevating the people academically.
    

Mr Ikechukwu maintained that this has been his zeal he has in mind to alleviate stress from those who cannot afford their school fees, adding “Im not the richest in the community but I was directed by God to help my people in a little way for the betterment of their future”.

Ikechukwu who gave credence to the present administration of David Umahi, lauded the Governor, Engr. David Umahi for his kind gestures towards the people of Ebonyi which he noted were visibly seen in his developmental strides in the rural communities.

Hear him: “I want to appreciate Governor Umahi for his kind gesture especially his developmental stride on rural communities and I must say that this administration deserves some accolades”, he said.

Also speaking, the Special Assistant to Ebonyi State Governor on Internal Security, Ebonyi South, Hon. Chike Nwangene appreciated the donor for the the show of love.

Hon. Chika uregd the people of the Area to emulate show of love as exhibited by Ugbala stressing that “Ikechukwu Ugbala is God sent to Ukawu Onitcha local government at large”, he said.

Hon Nwangene who described Ikechukwu Ugbala as a replica of Governor Umahi, called on the beneficiaries to use what had been given to them judicously in order to secure their life time Education.

He further advised the students especially the under aged to avoid every involvement in cultism and all manner of social vices, pointing out that it is the only way of tannishing once future he said.

Meanwhile, the  people commended the sponsor for doing “what others could not do in the history of the community as it is recorded from the past”, they said, while urging him not to relent in his good work.

The climax of the event was the scholarship award for Junior Secondary School Certificate Examination, (JSSCE) candidates for students from different schools in the area.
