Ex-NEPAD CEO, Gloria Akobundu salutes President Tinubu at 73, lauds leadership strides
Former Chief Executive Officer (CEO) of the African Union Development Agency/New Partnership for Africa’s Development (NEPAD), Hon Princess Gloria Akobundu has hailed the sterling leadership qualities of President Bola Ahmed Tinubu.
She made the commendation in a goodwill message issued in Abuja, feliciating with the President who marked his 73 birthday celebration at the weekend.
Mrs Akobundu said President Tinubu has redefined democratic governance in Nigeria since inauguration with several development-oriented policies and programs launched by his administration, which according to her, had remarkably reduced economic inflations, engendered building of critical infrastructures across the federation, and as well provided jobs for teeming youths, elderly men and women in the country among others.
She commended President Tinubu for setting up regional development commissions for all geopolitical zones in Nigeria, aimed at giving the zones sense of belongings in addressing the problems plaguing them.
Mrs Akobundu expressed immense gratitudes to the leader for the establishment of South East Development Commission (SEDC), and building of critical infrastructures in the southeast to enhance region’s economic development and entrepreneurial potentials of people of the geopolitical zone.
As authentic democrat, Mrs Akobundu lauded President Tinubu’s unwavering commitment and dedication in enthronement of democratic governance in Africa continent towards engendering socio-economic and infrastructural
growths in member-states.
While congratulating the President Tinubu as he added another year, Princess Gloria Akobundu prayed to God to continue in granting the celebrant strengths, guidance and wisdom in his selfless service to the country, Africa, and the globe as a whole.
