*Press Statement*
*EXTRA-JUDICIAL KILLINGS OF THE END SARS AND END POLICE BRUTALITY PEACEFUL PROTESTERS IN VARIOUS PARTS OF NIGERIA*
Consequent upon the ongoing nationwide protests by Nigerian youths demanding an end to SARS and Police brutality and Police extortion, we have observed that in the recent days, some agents of the Government has commence mobilization and recruitment or armed Amajiri militias to attack the peaceful protesters in order to turn the peaceful protest into a violent protest and justify their reasons to violently crush the peaceful protest and also kill Nigerian youths.
On the above, the Igbo National Council (INC) therefore demand for the immediate resignation of the Chief of Army Staff (COAS) – Gen. Burutai and the Inspector General of Police (IGP) for their incompetence and supervision of the regime of murderous gangs of blood thirsty army and police rascals that find joy in spilling the blood of Nigerian youths protesting against bad governance and corruption in the country. We also demand for the immediate arrest and prosecution of the commanders of the murderous gangs of military team that committed the Lekki genocide on Tuesday night and that of other states around the country.
We call on the Nigerian Youths to be resolute and maintain the tempo of the peaceful protests till these satanic cabals that has held Nigerians captive for many years give up. There will be no retreat and there will be no surrender. Peaceful protest is a civic and constitutional right of every human.
We demand the immediate relax of the twenty (24) hours curfew imposed by the various State Governments as it amounts to economic sabotage against Nigerians that has not recovered from the COVID-19 Pandemic lockdown.
Finally, we charge the volunteers of the Igbo Nation Security Vigilante Outfits – “Operation Ije Agu” to be very vigilant and alert as the rampaging Jihadist Militia may use this opportunity to launch their satanic attack against the Igbo Nation in other to cause more violent in the region. All Igbo Nation community vigilantes must remain focus and alert.
Signed
Chilos Godsent
President, INC
