Encomiums Flow, As Abuja Based Asa People Celebrate Engr. Uruakpa Over New Appointment

Encomiums flowed yesterday, April 20, at Abuja, as the people of Asa Local Government of Abia State, resident in Abuja, clustered in celebration of their proud son, Engr. Sterling Uruakpa over his new appointment with the institution, as member of the Governing Council, Bauchi Federal Polytechnic.

In their separate speeches, Mr. Oliver Nwuju advised Engr. Uruakpa to toll the path of honour, integrity and diligence while discharging his duties, describing the new appointment as a stepping stone to greater heights in pursuit of his career.

He said: “Promotion comes from the Lord and it is from glory to glory. My admonition is that you follow the path of honour, integrity and diligence in the discharge of your services. You can be sure that this is a stepping stone for you, the future is colorful and brighter.”

Also speaking, Mr. Kelechi Nwosu described the promotion as a privilege propelled by God, as he urged him to always depend on God, pointing out that a total dependency on God yields better positive results.

Hear him: “Your emergence is of the LORD, you should depend on God alone, and believe in Him alone,that absolute dependence on God will produce more results.”

Another indigene of Asa, Goodhope Ogbonna in his remarks has this to say:
“Do not work alone, ask questions,work as a team and make sure you deliver in that capacity.May God see you through.”

Similarly, Kingsley Chinyere said:
“God has bless you, you will go very far in life.I know you as a galant man and I am not in doubt you will deliver.Always remember where you are coming from.

In addition, Stanley Okwunu who expressed utter confidence in their son said, “We have never had any single doubt about Engr Uruakpa. He has a heart of gold. He should open his heart for more opportunities.This is the beginning and that he should always stand on the truth and fear God.”

Furthermore, Chijioke Agbagbuo, reacting amidst ecstacy described the new feather added to their son as a thing, as they enjoined him to remain committed to his service to God Almighty.

“It’s a thing of Joy that God has decided to lift you. Since I know Uruakpa, I have seen him as a man that use all your mind to work for God.

He, therefore, encouraged him to continue in serving God, reiterating that “more uplifment will come.”

Sam Anyaorgu also has this to say:
“I really thank God for this blessing upon you. And I pray that God will lead lead you safely. And I also encourage you to hold firmly whatever you have right now and wait for more of God’s blessings upon you.”

Responding, Uruakpa, in his euphoric mood explained that only God Almighty could have facilitated his fortune, as he dedicated same to God.

He used the medium to express his profound gratitude to the President of the Federal Republic of Nigeria, President Mohammadu Buhari, High Chief Ikechi Emenike and Nwogu N. Nwogu for facilitating his appointment, while pledging to carry out his required responsility creditably.
