EID-EL Kabir: No Development In Nation Without Peace, Unity, ADC Candidate, Amalanbu Tells Muslims, Christians

As Muslim worshipers celebrate their annual EID-EL Kabir, the African Democratic Congress, ADC Umuahia North State Constituency House of Assembly candidate, Rev. Blessed Amalambu says a nation devoid of peace, love, harmony and unity can experience development.

The African Democratic Congress, ADC Umuahia North State Constituency House of Assembly candidate, urged Muslims and indeed all Nigerians to always strive toward the promotion of peace, love, harmony and unity in the country for a better Nigeria.

In his goodwill message to the Muslim community in Umuahia North as they mark the Eid-El-Kabir Celebration, Amalambu also enjoined all Abians nay Nigerians to embrace mutual tolerance and understanding in their conduct and relationships, irrespective of faith, ethnicity or gender, “so we can take Nigeria to greater heights in the different areas of life”.

He disclosed his intentions to promote dialogue between legislators and members of religious communities on matters of shared interest and concern, when duly elected as a member representing Umuahia North State Constituency.

He expressed hope that the incoming 9th Assembly would implement a dialogue
among different faiths, as according him, faith plays a positive role in people wanting to get involved in their communities and wanting to get involved in public policy.

Amalambu maintained that “although Abians and particularly the Constituents of Umuahia North can comfortably learn a lot about Islam and Christianity and other faiths in books, but the best way to really understand another faith is through personal relationships.”
