“Collecting T-fare from man without visiting him is jailable offence” – Rivers PPRO, Iringe-Koko tells women
The Rivers State Police Public Relations Officer (PPRO) Grace Iringe-Koko has enjoined women to desist from all manners of extorting money from men, including collecting transportation fare without, if they do not intend to honour their invitations.
PRO, Grace Iringe-Koko said without mincing words that the act of collecting transport fare from a man by their female counterpart, without fulfilling their obligation of going to see him is a punishable offence
In a video that went viral on social media, the police photographer described as illegal, the habit of accepting transport fare from a man without physically meeting him as agreed.
Hear her:
“Why will you collect transport fare from a man without going to see him? It’s a punishable offence. It is obtaining money under false pretence. 419.”
Her message sparked a lot of emotions, with many men applauding her for warning women that doing so could land them in jail.
