She was the grandmother of Ikemba Don Uba, KSP , the Publisher of ECHO NEWS newspaper Owerri, even as she died last Saturday April 11,2020 at the age of 105. Until her death, Mrs Okpo was a devoted Christian, who practised Catholic faith. Two people have been burnt to death following tanker explosion at Irete along Owerri/Onitsha road, Owerri, Imo State. An eyewitness disclosed that the tanker which was loaded with fuel exploded at Irete, leaving the driver and another unidentified lady who was merely passing by dead.
