Birthday Anniversary: Mascot Kalu Describes Mother As ‘Ever-Young Sweet Sixteen Golden Mum’
Mascot Uzor Kalu, the 2023 governorship candidate of the Action Peoples Party (APP) in Abia state, has described his mother, Elder Mrs. Eunice Uzor Kalu (Odiuko na Mba),
“ever-young sweet sixteen golden, as she marks her birthday.
In a hearty message made available to famousreporters.com, the former Abia Chief of Staff further described his mother as an “ever-young, quintessential and the descriptive figure of the virtuous women mentioned in the Bible.”
The illustrious son of Ibere in Bende Local Government Area of Abia State eulogised his mother, stressing her tenacity and significant impact on his life and society.
The message read in part:
“It thrills my heart to, once again, celebrate my ever-young sweet sixteen golden mother, Elder Chief Mrs. Eunice Uzor Kalu (Odiuko na Mba), as she marks her birthday today. ‘Nnem oma’ is indeed a true definition and embodiment of a virtuous woman as described in the holy book (the Bible),” Kalu wrote.
He continued, “Her unflinching and undying support for humanity cannot be overemphasized in our contemporary society. Her philanthropic nature and tenacity in handling issues both political, business, religious, and otherwise have greatly shaped my life and the lives of everyone who comes in contact with her. Today, as I reflect on all we have been through, I cannot help but be proud to say, I am Happy that I came to this world through you.”
He concluded his message with a prayer for his mother’s longevity, saying, “On this special day, I pray you will never see sorrow. Only goodness and mercy will follow you all the days of your life. God bless you and keep you in good health and love, as you continue with the good works you do. Many more years, Mama!”
Mrs. Kalu, widely known as Odiuko na Mba, is a prominent figure whose political and business achievements and benevolence have made an enormous impact in Abia and Nigeria at large.
Known for her philanthropic gestures and advocacy for the downtrodden, especially women, she founded the Reality Organization, a non-profit group advocating for women’s inclusion in politics.
