Atiku bemoans recurrent killings in Borno, Kastina

Former Vice President of Nigeria, Atiku Abubakar GCON has expressed his grievances over the incessant massacre of innocent Nigerians in recent years.

The 2019 Presidential candidate of the people’s democratic party, PDP who posted on his Twitter handle an hour ago, while reacting to the gruesome killing of innocent Nigerians in Faduma Kolomdi, in Borno state, as well as Faskari LGA of Katsina State, pointed out the need for government to improve on the security and intelligence in the Northeast, adding “which is still an endemic region of terrorism.

Atiku wrote:

“I am saddened by the despicable massacre of innocent Nigerians in Faduma Kolomdi in Borno state. There’s a compelling need to step up security and intelligence in the Northeast which is still an endemic region of terrorism. My deepest condolences to the families of the dead.

“Also, the killing of yet more persons by bandits in Faskari LGA of Katsina State brings to the fore the need for states and regions to have a security arrangement that suits their local needs. My thoughts and prayers are with the families of those who lost loved ones.”
